DISCOVER Excellence is a foundational two-day workshop that introduces the Shingo™ Model, the Shingo guiding principles, and the three perspectives of organizational excellence. This program offers a rich and practical learning experience, helping you understand how principles and behaviors drive sustainable results.
It is designed to make your learning immediately applicable and to help you recognize how an organization can unlock its full potential to achieve organizational excellence. This workshop is the foundation of the Shingo journey; it is therefore a prerequisite for all other workshops and ultimately leads to the BUILD Excellence workshop.
An immersive and participative experience
Flexible format: available in person or online, fully participative
This workshop can be delivered either in person or online, depending on your needs. Regardless of the format, the experience remains highly interactive and immersive. Your active participation is expected: camera on (for online delivery), frequent interaction, group exercises, and engagement in discussions.
For online delivery, “Gemba” visits are conducted live through the instructor present in the host organization, who moves in real time to observe processes. In an in-person setting, these observations are carried out directly on site. In both cases, you are invited to interact, ask questions, and engage with employees to enrich analysis and collective learning.
You are fully engaged from start to finish.
Objectives
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Explain the Shingo™ Model and its role in achieving organizational excellence
- Describe the three fundamental perspectives that support a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable performance
- Understand how the guiding principles of the Shingo™ Model influence behaviors and contribute to sustainable results
- Observe and analyze organizational behaviors through an interactive case study and direct observation within the host organization
